Hi all,
My Dad's birthday was yesterday and I have asked him if he wants his car detailed. He looked very pleased and I will get mine done too, hopefully 2 car discount! Anyway he told me when new the car had a special protective layer of paint/lacquer but he thinks it only last 5 years. The car is a convertible Jaguar XK8 1998.
Basically is it safe/wise or does it even work to detail/paint correct these cars? I don't really want to ask a pro when ringing up as course they will say yes! I have clayed his car for him before if this makes any difference?
