Lol, joking...

Think I am officially a "proper" cupra owner now. Since Friday I've put in new spark plugs, and 4 new coil packs and now I think my MAF has gone!

Typical! Friday I said "I haven't had a Coil Pack go yet!" Famous last words.

Today, I had an A3 behind me, let him pass, then went to catch him, got level then lost all power. Every time I pressed accelerator I seemed to loose speed. So pulled over. Checked all coils and all was fine. Unplugged MAF, it started and didn't stall .

However, to confirm, the MAF is the black plastic bit between the aire filter and TIP??? (was gonna post a pic lol). If I plug it in, rev and let go, it stalls lol.

So new MAF for me I think.

Where's best place to buy from? And don't you usually "exchange" them or summat?

Oh, and to make matters worse, once I set off, Dan.Payne flew pass in his Golf Edition30!

Hi Mat, Go to Euro Car Parts, it's a BOSCH part anyway so no point going to the dealers, ECP charge about £60-65 last time I went, they are exchange, so all you do, is take a screwdriver with you, give them your old one and change it over with the new one in their car park, it's a 5 minute job.

Literally unplug the electrical plug, take off the air filter side, then take off the TIP side, and refit the new one.

Make sure you fit the MAF the right way round though else it'll throw a fault code on the dash! (You want the pointy bit facing you/front of the bonnet.
