Hey All,
Please may I have opinions and views on this product.
I'm getting my hands on a back to front unit.

Just wanted to know how this shifter feels in normal driving?
How does it feel when snap changing?

Does this make me prone to missing gears when changing quickly etc?

Thanks in advance!

The thing with the Forge unit, is that it is fully adjustable, so you can have it to an almost stock feel, or a really notchy tight feel :)

You can strike your blanace that you feel works best. Ive had mine for around two years, and it took a few weeks for me to set it up how I felt right.

I've been running one for a couple of years now. As already stated, fit it and try various settings till you get one that suits you. Can be done without removal of the unit which is a bonus. Highly recommended.

So to increase my knowledge from zero on this product!!

I am finding the 'throw' on the standard box very long at present.

So If I understand correctly, the back-to-front unit will shorten the changes from 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and the side to side unit will effectively shorten the neutral 'gate' so in effect the gear stick doesnt have to go along way over from 2-3 or 4-5. Is that correct?

I also assume both units can be fitted together for a nice tight box (ooh Missus!)

I would suspect however most people just prefer the back to front unit.

Might give this a whirl myself as i'm still struggling to get my cupra moving as quick as my old auto 2.0T FR with the DSG and i'm sure this is down to poor long gear changes. Well that's my excuse anyway!

Is this product likely to put any additional strain on the gearbox / clutch? Just for arguements sake of any warranty issues if gearbox issues?
