Mine wasn't a simple fit, but I took it to a good garage (VAG specialist - Storm Developments) to fit while my car was there for a remap. Before the strut towers could be marked for drilling, the brace had to have a metal loop on the off-side removed as this would have damaged the water-line over time and on the near-side the bracket had to be shaped to allow the bonnet lifter to operate. The drilling I felt I'd prefer not to do myself, but I know a few people have done themselves. The nuts/bolts/washers should be high strength steel (such as wurth) due to the forces involved.have seen those, would like to see a pic.
Was it an easy fit? I know some need cutting by the bonnet lifter

As long as the engine doesn't get in the way, the turrets will be in the same place.Does the S3 one fit the Golf MK4 GTIs?
