Just purchased the Revo Stage 1 from the Stealers and OMG :scary: best 500 notes i've ever spent. Still :D ing. They do a 5 hours driving time free trial. Go on, i dare you and after that, believe me, you will part with the cash.

Lol. Most Cupra owners on here are already there mate. If you only had a trial then you never got what the full remap gives, and even with the full remap, you are still 50bhp off stage 2+ revo ;)

I wasn't aware that the stealers offered a revo remap?! can i ask what dealer you went to? I presume this would mean they would not invalidate the warranty on the car then?!!;)
I'm thinking of gettin a revo remap but was unsure of the warranty issue.

I used Grants in Braintree, Essex. Found them to be very good and genuine. Revo does not affect warranty.

Fine, a couple of thousand ££ then :p

Still a lot of money for the extra 50bhp.

Value is down to the individual. The thing is though that for £2.5-£3k on top of the price of the car, you can have a 360bhp hot hatch that will easily keep up with RS4 Audis.

I agree with you two completely. 350+bhp for around £20k (based on what I paid for my cupra) is awesome.

My point is that it's quite a big step from just a remap. But obviously a worthwhile one if you have the money spare :) Shame the wife probably wouldn't agree ;)

Being fair though, up to legal speed limits, there is little if any difference between stage 1 and stage 2+. I know this because I have seen it with my own eyes. On a runway, expect the stage 2+ car walk away from the stage 1 car after the dual carraigeway speed limit.

Depends who you deal with, some dealers view it as a modification to the engine and will refuse to carry out any warrenty work. How ever if you deal with a dealer who carries out the re-mapping then they are more likely to back up your warrenty.

Exactly right!

Some dealers seem a little myopic when it comes to spotting an opportunity and would rather empty your pockets than work with you.

plus £500 for the original revo software.... or another £400 if brought from the off?

are those prices including fitting maybe not?

I was listing how much it costs to go to stage 2+ over stage 1 bud.

As for price fitted, that will be a grey area depending on who does it.

What does it drive like? Any LSD etc?
