Easy! Follow the pipe that comes from the left hand under side of inlet manifold (at front of engine) and this should go up to above coilpack 3&4 above engine.

Now either T into this and connect new pipe onto top of DV and block old one up, I used a bolt and jubliee clip, or rather then 'T'ing disconnect the pipe that runs from the Inlet manifold to above coipacks and then extend to DV.

2nd way you don't need to block exisiting DV pipe.

I did this yesterday and it took me about 10 mins, at least 5 of which was getting the damn OEM hose clips off! I just used one silicone hose from the inlet manifold straight to the DV.

Went out for a test drive and the DV and throttle response was so much better. And no hesitation when lifting off or part throttle. Smooooth :) For the cost and time involved against the results it's well worth it!

For thosr who ran a new pipe from the inlet manifold what size jubilee clip did you use, i am not really a fan of cable tying pipes on.
Being as the mani is cast a jubilee shouldn't crush it

I just used a cable tie on the underside of the inlet manifold. Holds perfectly well. :)

You shouldn't use jubilee clips on non fibre reinforced silicone hose. It has a tendency to tear under the grip of the jubilee clips. If you get a small split in the silicone, it will spread very quickly.

Cable ties are what you should use on this stuff.
