I hit a pothole couple of weeks ago and thought I was lucky, i jacked the car up yesterday to paint the calipers and a coil fell out so I must have loosened it. Has anyone lowered a 1.2 with springs an how much have you lowered it,because im sure someone have said springs hardly drop it. (cant affort coilovers and not like im hammering into bends anyway not fast enough)

thanks for the help lads,I would buy springs from u Damian but im desperate for them as my car is undrivable and with a baby its hard work. As I work in the trade I can get a Apex kit for 35MM drop for £95 or 45MM Pi Springs for £117 next day to my garage.whats your opinions as ive checked scotthmk4's thread and he has lowered his 50MM and cant notice much difference in his pic's thats what im affraid of?

I have a feeling that Apex and Pi are fairly crap, but if your looking for a cosmetic drop then I guess they will be OK? Why not go for the Weitec springs as they are a good solid German brand?

biggest reason for the drop is cosmetic than performace as ive only got a 1.2 none of my suppliers can get weitecs my options are Pi,Gmax or Apex and Apex are prob the best out of those options. Didnt you use Apex Mike?
