Hi got an lcr, boost gauge says running at 18-20psi, what does a standard lcr run at?

Not had the car all that long, there was no word that it had been remapped when i got it from the dealer. It also came with a jabba sport induction kit and miltek exhaust. oh and also has a bailey dump valve which im about to change for a forge.

Shall i get a vag com cable etc from fleabay to see if its been remapped??

Any help would be most apreciated thanks

If its holding 18-20 psi and not just spiking to that figure before settling down, its been mapped.

standard only boost 10-12 psi max
sounds like its mapped

As Ross says, sounds like it spiking to this.....exactly as per mine, normally holds at 12

Yes, VAG-COM logs will determine whether or not its requesting more than 100% of the original ECU map values. I guarantee you that its been remapped if its holding 20 psi of boost.

i had 16 psi spikes when had a leaky pipe to n75
fingers crossed it mapped for you mate

you could ring jabba and give them the reg... good chance theyve played with it as their inductions on there and they used to sell bailey dvs.

Combined with the Jabba induction kit how much Bhp you think its got roughly??

Probably about 270bhp.

If everything is working properly, ie; no boost leaks and a properly functioning MAF sensor. You should be on roughly 265-270bhp. Get her on VAG-COM and do some logs to make sure everything is working as it should be. It'll be mapped for 97RON+ petrol, if you're using normal unleaded you'll be losing about 10 or 15 bhp minimum.
