What Downpipe 2.5 or 3''

Right Im Getting a new exhaust system for the car as my Ths is rattling but id like a Sports cat..

Now which size is best for a Gt2x Hybrid? Like would a BF Downpipe with 200 cell cat be ok?

As i don't really want to loose to much power?

I was going to say it doesnt really matter but since your running the power you are defo 3"

My Blueflame sports cat is a 3' but then steps down to 2.75' then 2.5' so not sure if that would be any good for what your running.

well its going to go down to 2.5" anyway when it gets past the cat for the rest of the system but im sure 3" would be more productive then 2.5" for the downpipe...

Im sure there was a big descussion about this before with some people saying about the 3" causing loss of torque etc but not sure what the outcome was....

From what i`ve read you only really need 3" if your running BT.

Your gt2x isnt far off my hybrid and when i asked Bill the same question he said my 2.5" 100cell miltek would be up to the job.

Oreally so i might aswell get a 200cell race cat of ebay £150 jetex one and get it welded in...

as mines a 3'' ths downpipe

So i should be lookin at something like this:

It seems Blue Flame Do a downpipe and de-cat..
