time 60-100mph roughl, if remapped it'll be less than 7-8sec. if closer to 8-10 sec then most likely not. or if you have access to vagcom check on there , or get yourself a boost guage and check what it boosts.

if its remapped youll probably be able to feel the increase in torque mid range or top end.

Hey sorry to change the subject but im new to this and have just bought a 06 plate 2.0 leon fr tdi, im looking to change the lights to hids but dont want to pay for the conversion kit so happy just to get the upgraded lights ( not hids but brighter than standard halogen) is this illegal, i seen ones in halfords which seem pretty legal but dont want to put them in and get 3 points???

LOL shouldn't this be in a new thread? Try the Philips or Osram's from www.carbulbs.com if you just want brighter bulbs.

Also, if your just timing the 60-100, what if you have other problems with the car? like a boost leak or faulty MAF? it may be mapped but will be slow due to those problems?

Air flow over the MAF is a better measurement than boost pressure. Log Block 002 on VAG-COM whilst foot on the floor from about 2000rpm until you hit the rev limiter. Look at what your peak airflow figure was in grams per sec (g/s) and divide that figure by 0.8, this will be roughly the power your engine is making in BHP.

a mate just fitted my boost gauge and now and again i get a spike around 17/18psi but i can't hold it here like i could in my ibiza so initially thought it was mapped, now i reallise it aint :(

Look on the bright side, if you felt the car was fast enough that it could already have been mapped, think how great it will be when it actually is mapped! :D

The Jabba custom map I have on my LC spikes at about 22psi and will hold 20psi.
