LCR With CC Phase 1 and mods, but how many clicks on the Split R?

Please help!

I have had no joy from CC or Forge so hopefully someone out there has the same kinda mods as me and knows how many clicks/tension the Forge Split R is at.

I have not got a boost gauge yet so I do not know what the car is peaking/levelling out at. Any guidance will be great but any negativity regarding the split r can be left in the previous, old threads!

The full/semi recirc mode has no bearing on spring tension as far as I am aware.

Personally, I played around with mine alot doing lots of logs and determined that the number of clicks could vary alot (5-10 clicks) without making any noticeable difference to performance. Didn't like the way it was running so got a 007P and it really is much better.

20 clicks didnt really feel right.

Like you said, i put it to 30 clicks and it didnt really feel any different.

Just adjust it till it stops clicking,
And when you fit your boost guage DONT take the feed off the top of the Split-R, They dont like it.

So start engine (hot or cold?) with valve on '0' then turn until it stops clicking D.K?

Yep thats it, It might start clicking again when it warms up or after a drive so adjust it again til it stops clicking, once it stops clicking then leave it alone.
Are you useing it in atmos or full recirc mode ???

atmos at the moment but will prob go back to recirc, what are you running?

Mine's in Full recirc now, It does feel a lot better in Full recirc

In atmos when the air is dumped (i have 57i aswell) it seems to make 3 very quick air releases rather than just the one when I had the old valve on, is this norm?

Mayb going to full recirc will be better then.

You would think that it looks upside down but this is the way it should sit.

Yeah its fitted right.

Put it full recirc now and taken it for a blast. 12 clicks later and its running like an absolute dream. Still got the 3 short blasts of air when it dumps though, cant be a prob though can it?

The noise might be the DV echoing in the TIP, my noise changed after fitting the TIP.
