Just a quick one....... i hope. Does the bleed nipple have to be at the top or the bottom of the caliper or doesn't it matter?

Thanks

i understand what your saying...but when you bleed the breaks dont you depress the pedal so the air/fluid comes out under force...i would say it doesnt matter could be wrong mind...was thinking bottom atleast if you get a leak its not going to run over the clipper and everything..

Every caliper I have seen has the bleed nipple at the highest point of the piston bore. I guess these brembos are twin piston so I would say the nipple needs to be at the top of the upper piston bore. Air is compresible, fluid is not so when bleeding if the nipple isnt at the highest point an air pocket would compress and the fluid would take the path of least resistance past it.
