hey, do any of you have weitec gt coilovers or how they are rated as am looking to get a decent priced set which also handle well, any info will be great

We've fitted and sold a good few sets of these and personally I find the ride quality a lot better then most coilovers. I wouldn't really say they were ready for the track but for everyday road use, which the Weitec's are aimed at, they're really good.

Aren't the AP coilies the same as Weitec but a lot less money. By the same I mean made by same people and only differ in the colour of the springs, blue instead of green. Have heard good things about them both but for less cash you would be better off going for the AP's I would have thought.
They're made in the same factory but the quality of the materials and build in the Weitec's is better then the AP and hence the price difference.

which coilovers would you say are the best value for money that still handle well and good ride quality?
I have AP coilovers and found them to be perfecly good. excellent value for money and coped very well with the nurburgring last weekend. Id recommend them for someone on a budjet. obviously AP arent in competition with the likes of bilstein but none the less they are very good.

I am off to AMD in the next week or so to get them fitted while it is still only 100 notes including the wheel alignment. I have heard nothing but good comments about them.
well think i'll probably go for the weitec to be honest, do ya know where to find out axle weights for the 2.0 tdi?
