Pre-lowering ride height

I have just been out to the car and measured how high the ride height is... I measured from ground to top of the wheel arch on both sides of the car, going through the centre of the wheel (NOT wheel to arch gap). You can also compare this to your ride height (standard or lowered on springs/coilovers etc...)

The results are: Front ride height = 63cm, Rear ride height = 64cm. :( (standard FR suspension, tractor-style)

When the Eibach springs go on tomorrow and the car settles a bit, I will re-measure and post on here the total amount lowered!

Now get out there with your measuring tape...

I measured mine the same way before and after fitting my coilovers. Standard 'Sport' suspension before,

Before

Front - 63cm / Rear - 66cm

After

Front - 59cm / Rear - 60cm [B)]

I can still lower the car more, but then it'd be silly low :)

Measuring it like that isn't the best way due to different wheels, tyre pressures etc.

Good drop you set it to then... fair play! I will just have to see what these springs settle at.

That was a good idea to measure the before and after. I'm sorry I didn't think of doing it.

I have already measured from the arch to the middle of the wheel, and it sits at 32cm both front and back.

Tomorrow after I fit the new wheels I'll measure the full length and let you know. :)
