iv had a compleley smooth front bumper on my ibiza for a while, and have never really put the number plate anywhere for any lenth of time,

for ages in what in my windscreen and in the past if stuck on, but its annoying me now, i love the look of it off!

im determined to make a bracket to hold either a shorter or cut down plate of some sort but wanted to see what other people have done to get round this problem,

i saw a silver ibiza with the plate located on one side on some sort of bracket

Can't ya stick a few clips to it and try and clip it to either the upper grille or lower grille in front of where FMIC is

When i had mine i used 3 L shaped brackets velcroed to the underside of the bumper so could be easily removed for pics/shows. In the end just ran without a plate at all got away with it for over 4 months!

bikes have no front plates ;) Argue that wi the cops :cartman:

Plus, you'll be in front of the cops with them chasing, so they only need to read the rear!

that looks quality  imo, so all you've had done is the lines smoothed out and your number plate and bumper strip filled?

That does look quality! I got a second bumper I can have a play with, so may make a 'show' bumper? How about a smoothed off bumper strip with no number plate recess... too plain??

thats exactly the same as my bumper, had it done about 2 years ago,

have to agree with you about the bar it looks much better smoothed completey over,

your the man i wanted to speak to about it!! id seen a snap of yours with the plate on and off and thought there has to be a way!

what did you used to make the brackets, can easily use a metal but the thought of metal on it will easily scratch, be easier to use, than plastic,

you've stuck it on between the bumper and the splitter is it or the underside of the splitter?

thanks for that
