Finally got my Leon Cupra :)

Hi everyone, I finally bought my black O4 plate Leon Cupra Tdi on Saturday & I'm over the moon with it

I've had Honda's all my driving life so this is a very different type of drive to what I'm used to. I sold my beloved Civic Jordan at the end of January & have been on the hunt for a low milage mint Cupra since then.

Just got a couple of questions:

Does anyone know where I could get an up to date CD for the Seat Sat Nav Unit? Nipped into my local Seat dealer today & they quoted me £150!

Also, is it just me or is the standard stereo in the Leon amazing? If not then i think mine must have had an up-rated system installed from the dealership because it kicks ass! Its got a great sound quality, and good bass without any distortion or frapping from the speakers.

On my very small list of things to do are:

Cambelt Change (cars only done 49k but worth it for peace of mind)
Full Service
Cupra R front splitter
Skoda Fabia VRS rear wiper conversion

na, that will be the lot honestly
Thats the whole reason i opted for te Leon rather than another Honda, the temptation to modify/ tweak is alot less, just want it to be reliable, economical & comfortable..which at the minute it is

i started out with my LCR with the hopes of a soundsystem and nothing else.

upon discovering this forum iv ended up with a bmc cda carbon fiblre induction kit,baileys dv30 dumpvalve, silicon turbo intake pipe,custom cold air intake, 100 cell high flow sports cat,milltek exhaust,3" downpipe and a customcode stage 2 remap.

i give you 6 months max before you buy either an uprated panel filter or a forge 007p dv.... but i wish you luck!

panel filter? is this something that can be done easily? ive got a forge lined up but im loathe to get mine remapped just yet so would fancy just uprating some parts at the minute.

Honestly lads, I'm gonna be strong and resist I've always pissed all my money away on cars,so it has to stop.

I have considerd a remap but that would mean up rating the clutch, which I'd rather not waste money doing.

Anyone know anything about the Sat Nav CD or stereo?

Nope you're right the Leon speaker system is impressive for stock, I remember it coming in the top 5 of stock systems in a comparison I read somewhere a while back. I particularly like the midbass from mine.

Hey Mike - Glad you like it im sure she will do you proud, purchased my Cupra R on friday... Gets delivered next week.

Not SAT NAV, Sun Roof, or Cruise in this one but it does have reverse parking sensors and of course 225 bhp LOL.

you no its gona happen ,just admit it, im doin well with my cupra, had it a month and only fitted a 007p,wanted a panel filter might might have to b e induction kit, then, wana swt sound from the reAR.THEN its only gona cost me £300 ish for remap, DOH
