good to meet you today mike, sorry i had to scoot off had some other stuff to attend to!
It was great to meet you, and I really enjoyed checking out your RR as it unfolded.
Great car you got there!
I hope your not going to pay the £172.50 to get those springs fitted mate?
You can do the rears, they are sooo easy. Then just pay a local garage to do the fronts - £50 max.
I think I will be doing them with my neighbour on my drive actually! I just wanted an idea of cost as I use JKM to service my car.
I'll let you off then
Thanks! I'm always up for having a go with my cars...
The rear's are sooo easy. Just get the back end on some axel stands, remove both rear wheels, remove the bolt holding the bottom of the rear strut in, pop the springs out, fit new springs (dont forget to take the little rubber seat from the old spring and put into the new sprin), refit bolts and wheels. Job done
Sounds like a plan! I guess it will be another project for your Easter holidays?
Will have to mini-meet soon, as the weather improves! I will get my springs sorted first so I don't look too much like a tractor next to yours!
Good to meet you too and thanks for those kind words!
defo up for a mini meet soon as we have some decent sun
