Couldn't agree more. Used cars are such a rip off here, great news if your selling, but not if your buying.

Even new cars are cheaper on the mainland. £3000 off a Mazda 3 in England, £2000 off it here! :cry:

Seriously considering booking a flight and the ferry!

the 1.6 isnt 105bhp standard is it? i thought it was more like 70!

my 1.4 leon was 75bhp so i guess a 1.6 would be around the 100 mark. wouldnt buy a petrol one again do. car is way to heavy for the petrol engine except maybe the 1.8t. i would rather a diesel with twice the milage than a petrol.
 
you cant beat the extra torque... the 1.9 SE 110 is only insurance group 7....

Mines £98 a month with 6 points and no no claims... etc.....

Oppps 102.4mph on a dual carrage way....

12 month ban, 6 points, £467 fine and retake my test :( ooops
