Jabbasport/PA Inlet Manifold?

Does anyone on here run the Jabbasport/PA inlet manifold on their Leon

this is it below:

inlet can be on the left or right hand side, and for £631 I think that is a pretty reasonable price

anyone logged or seen improvements over the standard one? and how does it compare to the SEM one....

Bill has a sticky with bench flow tests of sdifferent intake manifolds, check and see if its on there.

thats right, cheers mate, I will have a look ;)

most of those I think I cannot fit, as the TB on mine faces the drivers side and most uprated manifolds I have seen face towards the passenger side

no big shakes there though bud.
Just pipe your boost pipe back to the other side or change to a LCR FMIC.
Phillc has done it

it's ALOT of arsing about, and I want a direct bolt on, and recently there has been a spate of uprated inlet manifolds which now give me this option

looked at Bill's sticky, but no test of the Jabba/PA one.... (unless it is under a different name)

Didn;t think it would be in the table as those tests were done on Vortex I think

I think Bill used to run an early version of this Jabba manifold, also a guy called Clive with a green TT roadster ran one. Think Bills early one had a design flaw IIRC, sure that has been rectified now tho

Is that why the LC has the FMIC entrance and exit on the same side??? I always wondered about that, never occurred to me it would be that simple.

well yes because remember the SMIC is tiny so the intake and exit as you say is on the same side

this was an issue when I wanted to uprate the SMIC, as there was only the twin pass FMIC kit around, and I did not want this due to it causing too much of a pressure drop, I wanted single pass only

I bought the PA LCR single pass kit, designed for the LCR of course, and not the LC as its huge....but with a bit of modding i managed to shoe horn in the FMIC

another reason why I dont want to re-run all the piping for the TB facing the passenger side. Certianly not now anyway as recently there are options to buy an uprated ILM facing the drivers side

Ruddmeister, what were the flaws with the earlier design?

I have emailed Jabba asking about any direct improvements with fitting their uprated ILM over the standard ILM and also any data logs to back this up

If I am going to spend that sort of money then I want a guaranteed increase

SEM one is nice, but faces the wrong way (as explained I wont be doing this for reasons above) but INA has shown me an APR one coming out soon with the TB facing the drivers side which is now another option I may consider dependant on price and performance
