Power Steering?

Hi all, just a quick question for all you out there....My car has started to make some awful noises when steering and the wheel even feels juddery sometimes.....Is that my powewr steering pump knackered or just the belt?

Another quick one....any of you with a mk2 live in cornwall ....I am down in sunny newquay and was wandering if anyone fancies a meet in the summer....

Could be a slipping belt though, i had the same symptoms as you and a new belt cured it

Thanks for that.....I think i will change the belt first and see if any different...If not then pump time....Any bargain places you can recommend or just use my local factors

be careful if shopping aftermarket - pumps can be 90 or 110 bar pressure but most are ZF 90 bar. Angle where pipe meets pump is usually right-angle. You need part numbers give me a shout
