I'm currently wanting at a new clutch & SMF for my car and I'm seriously toying with the idea of getting a Quaife/Peloquin ATB fitted at the same time but for some reason I'm suddenly unsure about the diff - I know everyone that's got one fitted raves about them but I'm now not so sure I need one...would I be better off getting a rear ARB and leaving it at that? My car's remapped but otherwise just a standard Cupra TDI

It's a lot of money to spend - fitting normally costs more than the diff itself. You could probably get coilovers, rear ARB, new clutch etc. for the same price

You won't regret it put it that way.
fit it then its done then you don't have to worry about it ever again.
You will love being able to plan the foot mid corner and make it screaming round the corner instead of running into a hedge

Just bought a Wavetrac thanks to Junior Senior pointing them out the other day

Can you let me know what you think of it when you get it fitted and tested.
I'm WELL keen on one of these when they've made the O2M one
i've sent them an email to tell me when its finished
You lucky lucky man:censored:

it wasn't so much that I'd regret as would I make anything like full use of it? but to be honest I can see myself getting the ARB regardless of whether or not I get the diff :D

it is a lot of money; the diff is something like £713+VAT and I'm pretty sure fitting isn't anything close to that, especially when having a clutch+SMF fitted at the same time? and yes I could get coilovers and athe rear ARB for the cost of the diff alone (without fitting) but they'd be something along the lines of v-maxx or ap coilovers

the Wavetrac is certainly intriguing, but as above it's not available just yet :(

ended up buying a peloquin off gary (oilburninnut) by way of a box swap+cash along with the Jabba Sachs clutch & SMF kit he had fitted to his Fabia. the diff does make a real positive difference and I'm all but used to the chatter the SMF causes.
