Hey guys, I've decided that I'd like to uprate the suspension on my '03 LCR as I find the ride quie crashy, I suspect that as it's now 6 years old and on the original springs and dampers this will have alot to do with it.
I've done a fair bit of reading around the subject and come to the conclusion that what I am after is a set of matched springs and dampers. I know alot of people will say coilovers are the greatest etc. etc. but I don't plan any track days and only use my car for occasional joy rides and what not. I have no interest whatsoever in being able to adjust the setup once its fitted hence, I can't justify the cost of coilovers.
I don't really want to spend too much money (around £350 maybe) but I would like something that will improve the crashy ride. A small drop would be nice for aesthetics but I don't want to slam it and I don't want to run into avoidable problems by dropping it.
I've been around here some time and I know people will suggest ARB's etc. for handling and although these are on my list I've decided it's the ride comfort I'd like to sort first.
Can anyone recommend a setup within my budget that will improve the ride comfort and handling and also offer any other advice on what potential problems I may face please.
