is the strut brace easy to fit? nice car

Car is gone now. :)

But yeah the strut brace is a doddle to fit - remove three bolts put it in place and refix the three bolts (At either side) and job is done.

With the TDI models on the offside there is a boost controller (I think) that needs to be removed to gain access to ftting - it's only two bolts and it lifts off.

Hope that helps.

thanks, but i made a mistake. I'm (not proud to be) belgian and the translations for the most mods are sounding nothing like the english word. sorry about that ! but apparently i mistaken the Front Anti Roll Bar for the strut brace. So actually i was wondering if the anti roll bar was hard to fit....aspecially cause it's from a skoda... i'm honestly ashamed for my poor english :D

It's OK - Your english still seems good to me.

The anti-roll bar was a bit more tricky, you need to drop the front subframe then disconnect the anti-roll bar from the droplinks - remove the clamps and pull the bar/bushes out from it.

When fitting the vRS ARB it's good to fit some new bushes and maybe some droplinks too if yours are showing wear.

I didn't fit the ARB, a friend did it for me. :)

thanks for y'r fast response, i wouldn't think of using RS' roll bars myself. i think now's the time for me. My car's done about 35000km (20 000miles) so everything should still be tight. And there always someone around who's willing to help (a has experience, so need to help.. :) )
