Looking at getting a K1 ...

Hi all

For the past few months I've been getting that itch for a new car. Had my Leon TFSi for 3 years now and loved it from start to present day. Sooooo I'm seriously contemplating getting a K1 as a nice upgrade.

What do you guys think the best prices are at the mo? I've been keeping my eye on the one at seatcarsdirect for a while an think this is probably the best price:

But I would like to get the black alloys and possible the bluetooth pack with it, so not entirely sure on what those extras would come to.

Also would a dealership match the price of another dealership? I'm in Milton Keynes and it would be a bit of a trip to go to London (but for that price it would be worth it ). It would just be easier if they matched it in the MK Seat branch.

Looks like a decent price for a new K1. You could always trying asking your local dealer to price match, if they don't then they are the one's loosing out on a possible sale.

The black wheels and bluetooth would be classed as optional and would be costed as extra's. If buying the new K1 is at a discounted price, I not sure what they would do regarding optional extra's.

The discounted price may also be for stock they already have. It's worth checking....

I paid a little less than that for a new one with bluetooth and the black alloys but too be fair that isn't a bad price imo. Alot of dealers won't match but easy to try eh. My local dealer wanted full list price for a new one and 19k for an ex demo with 2,000 miles on the clock, they were laughable though as told me they would only knock 300 quid of the demo but within 3 days reduced the price by 400! Travelled 80 miles for mine in the end but enjoyed the drive home!

Seatdirect have a pre-reg 09 plate for £16,995 which you can't knock, all depends on if it has the options you want or not on it.

Someone posted elsewhere that they are no longer taking factory orders for the k1, not sure if thats true or not though but if it is they may become rare soon!

Where did you find that sorry? The only other one I could find on seatdirect was in lime green
