more smoother, and i have never felt like i should have kept it on,

What did you use to plug the hole?

lol yeh, they would suck... just something like them...

The OEM Leon wipers, front and back look like Mechano, and dont work too well...

Classic first mod, and a tell tale sign of any one who has had a browse on this forum....

If you want to start with handling I'd definitely recommend good tyres, a better dogbone mount and an upper strut brace. A good quality cotton air filter (Green, Jetex, etc.) sounds excellent and aids breathing, but is made best use of with a remap and uprated diverter valve.

Regarding your question about remaps - not only will peak power increase, but so will overall torque levels (some maps have high torque curves which tail off, others smoother more usable across the rev range - your choice really). Throttle response is greatly improved and makes the car go like stink! :)

Aero wipers and uprated bulbs are quite a cheap mod too.

I think the LCR colours are:-
Black: Ebony
Grey: Platinum
Silver: Arctic, then Luna for 05/55 plates
Red: Flash, then Emocion for 54/05/55 plates
Yellow: Ovni

I would recommend you NOT to buy poly bushes for your existing DBM, which are known to crack and cause a lot of vibrations in the car. Instead I would recommend the Track Density DBM from INA (who is a sponsor on here), which is 90% stiffer that the OEM part but has no vibrations at all. It works wonders with fast starts and the throttle response is improved because the engine isn't moving back and forth in the bay... Simple to fit - just take off the old part and fit the new one - half hour at a good garage.
