Thanks for the welcome:DI loved it as soon as i sat in it!! i had a mk3 golf gti before and if fuel economy wasnt an issue i would have gone for a fr or leon cupra (same colour tho!!) its perfect for what i need at present, im hoping to fr it up looks wise (as from reading up on here its quite possible) i must say tho it does drive brilliantly and feels solid.

ARB update

Got home from school fairly early today so I decided to move my ARB to the stiffest setting! :funk: Went for a little test drive on some of my favourite roads near here and there is a noticeable difference! I can definitely feel the rear gripping more. [B)] Early days though...

I wanna do that to mine, can't be bothered to jack it back up though!

I'll do it before my Track Day Taster session at Oulton in a month

Job news

Didn't get the job I went for last week. I'm not too upset as I like my current job, it would just have been closer to home for me! I reckon they were looking for someone cheaper then me though (in terms of pay) as it was a job that they had created (no one is leaving). On with the search...

Shame about the job - maybe it was ment to be? ( bullSh*it i know but thats what people usually say, eh :D? )

Don't think the ARB goes with the theme of your car, i'll give you £20!

JKM rolling road

Just got back from Pompey and the JKM Performance rolling road morning! It was great to meet some forum members and finally put names to faces/forum IDs. As my first SCN meet it was great... coffee and biscuits always helps! Many thanks to JKM for a smooth and pain-free morning. Just a few pics of the FR doing its runs and the best run result... 157.1bhp and 180ftlb torque... good times! :funk:

Came away with the next mod for my car too... Eibach lowering springs, bought from a forum member at the rolling road day.

Good results mate :) You still planning on a P-Torque remap?

You car will look sooo much better with the Eibach springs on it. Are you fitting them yourself?

Nice plot that for standard!

Springs will do the job nicely too I expect, they look fairly unabused.

easy job to fit too, which is a bonus!

Maybe a remap one day, but a long way off I reckon at the moment. I will fit the springs with my neighbour on my drive, so I guess you could say I am doing them myself yes! ;) I think he is getting springs too so it could be a fun weekend soon!

Yes, well pleased with the figures. I wasn't sure what to expect TBH! Springs are in great nick and I got them at a good price too. :funk:
