LCR, "boing" sound when turning left.

Hi!

Had my brembo gt's fitted yesterday, but the same evening, i have "boing/doing" sound from the right wheel, when turning left.
It can appear when turning "fast", but really not turning at all... the quick movement itself.
And when turning gradually... to clear it out, it's not the tires thats scraping on or anything like that...

First I thought is was due to my 5mm spacers, but i does not seem to be the case.

BTW. Who would have thought that brembo gt could fit under 17" cupra r wheels... i was shocked!

Any suggestions?

id also check the bolts are done up correctly, - in fact id take the wheel off, check for any evidence of marking to the inner surfaces of the alloy, then remove the spacer and make sure that the surfaces of the hub, spacer and wheel are completely clear of any dirt or grit when putting the wheel back on and doing the bolts up correctly. then see if you are still getting this sound.

Otherwise spring seems to be a possible cause, is it seated correctly or broken? (could have happened when car was jacked up..)
alternatively, could the brake pipework be catching on anything?

I've checked the bolts, had the wheel of and checked the spacer, seemed fine and even.
I've also looked for the braided hose, but that didnt seem to make any trouble, might not give that "boing" sound at all?

*Havent thought of the broken spring.

What about bushes and stabilisor or even driveshaft?

I fixed my flat tire and then monuted the 17" cupra r's, so now there are no spacers.
But stille the "boing" sound, but now a bit more metallic sound... hmmm

Do you have to be moving for the noise to occur or can you be stationary and just turning the steering?

Has the spring moved in the cup? Or, top mount seizing/seized, now the top spring cup doesn't turn so the spring turns in the cup. Had this exact problem with a 206 HDI a few weeks ago, same symptoms/noises.

Must be something to do with the steering system, either rack or track rod ends.
Get it up on axle stands, get underrneath it and get someone to steer left and right see if you can pin point it that way

Problem fixed! You won believe it!..LOL

It was the mount around the shock for the wiring loom and brakehoses. The top of the mount scraped the inner side of the alloy... which also made the "boing" sound...

Dont understand it, as it hasnt been removed from the shock...
