Just got back from having cruise control fitted at Unit18.

It's awesome!

Stuck it at 70 (ish) and cruised all the way.... Managed a very neat 55mpg from my 1.9Tdi (PD100)

I would like to give a MASSIVE thanks to Ross at Unit18 for a perfect fitting and fantastic service. Worked first time, perfectly. There was even a cuppa provided at no extra cost!

If anyone else is interested I'm sure he won't mind me pointing you at the website http://www.unit18.co.uk

I can highly recommend him!

I think it might depend on your car, but mine was sub £200 (I'd rather not say exactly :p)

I'm sure if you drop Ross an email he could give you quote :D

Hmmmm, might have to look into this as it would be a usefull addition. How long did it take to fit?

It took about 1 1/2 hours ish, but it's a worthwhile addition to the car. Soooo nice to to flip a switch and let the car maintain. I set it a 55 and on the running MPG it was between 63 and 66 mpg!! But I topped it up to 70 and managed to get 55 average.

It's also a great help if you have a heavy foot, especially in those average speed camera areas... I had it working down to 25Mph, but I haven't really had time to play in different speed areas yet.

If you do any amount of motorway driving, you'd be daft NOT to get it added!

£180 supplied and fitted.

Just need to check your Boardnetz ECU (instructions in the FAQ) but I suspect yours is fine.

And need to know if you have MFA or not (I suspect you do ;) )
