thanks for that John. that confirms it for me... i hope we agree.

looking at it from this end.... this end is 77mm ID and then steps down twice, the second one i cant measure but it ends up at 72.2mm through the bore of the housing.

:) that'll be on the part i dont have John but the part i ordered the other day was a 06A 906 461 M... taken from ETOS

EDIT: thats the number i gave SEAT,if he changed it, he didnt tell me.

have you put a vernier on the one in the photo?



just realised that was a 75mm OD MAF you measured so yours cant be 77mm this end... im confused!

no problem i appreciate you taking the time to help.....

i just pulled the screens out of mine... dims of the 3 steps are as follows (on mine)... approx - 77mm, 75.5mm then down to 72.2mm

Thanks for measuring it John.. thats very strange. do any of the dims i posted match up?

theres only two numbers listed for the MAF housing and one of them is for the exchange unit.... i could send you my part if you want to compare them.

hehe... i was just thinking that maybe your car is flowing even more air than you think..

ill give nick a tinkle to see if i can throw a vernier on his

My measuring device arms where to short so i was getting smaller reading.. i extended with cardboard.. and got the same results as you arron.
