30K miles LCR - Motor Mounts Change Neccessary?

Hey people,

My LCR has only just touched 30K miles and I was wondering how important it is to change the mounts (Engine, gearbox, and dogbone).

Will I see much difference in changing these? So far I have only seen people changing these who have done many miles.

I am thinking of going for the INA mounts as I can see from my research that the powerflex ones are good but cause too much vibration on a smooth drive.

Cheers for your help in advance!!

30k!

She's only just run in ;)

My old girls past 100k and the mounts are fine, although the OEM dogbone bushes are known to go after a short time and I've swapped mine for poly ones's

I'd highly recommend doing the DB bushes or buying the full INA mount. It Seem's everyones raving about these at the moment.

I'm gonna be changing the dogbone for an INA 'track' (should arrive soon) but I haven't felt the need to uprate the others. If you do it's suggested to go for INA 'street' for the other two engine mounts.

I don't think mounts are generally something people change due to wear, they change them to make the chassis feel a bit tighter than stock. I changed the dog bone bush on mine and it made a nice difference. Not sure I'd want to change other mounts though as I don't want too much extra vibration.

Thanks for your replies guys. This is what I am trying to establish, is it a mod which you do for better performance regardless of wear and tear of the stock mounts or something to replace the tired old buggers!!

It really depends on what price your being offered for the full set TBH.
The uprated ones will resist the engine movement more and will allow the DBM to work better too.
You won't be doing the wrong thing by changing the mounts but these shouldn't be worn out yet.
If your going to remap or change the turbo uprated mounts wuld be a good idea at some point
