Cupra Clutch change?!?!

Hi everyone, my misus ibiza is in need of a new clutch, i have been told to do away with the dual mass and convert back to solid flywheel etc, is this correct info??
also if this is true where abouts is the best place to get a kit from or what kit is best??
This car has been suffering with clutch problems for a while now and i just want to get it right.

"these are the part no for the vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel (they are the updated ones)

part no for the flywheel and bolts from vw (theres is cheap enough)
028105269bx flywheel £88.38 exe vat and £25 surcharge if not handin in exact flywheel.

The part no for the bolts is the same as old ones.
N10101001 & n90206103 x6each

Part no from euro car parts for clutch kit is
641440660 £64.16 inc vat."

Put the new part number into ECP database and it come up with this

LUK n/a 641440660 CLUTCH KIT 230MM GO3/VE/CO/PA 2.8/2.9 VR6

Is 230mm the right size?

I believe thats an error in their listing, and the actual clutch is 228mm

So you should be fine.

will be needing to know this soon as well and get a g60 flywhell lightened and balanced

gonna have to do this in about a month or so....

Got my first bit of clutch slip last night. revs just shot up without going anywhere lol....

Only happened once, but must be an early warning sign (bloody typical, spend £800 on brakes, then clutch goes)

Noticed the size. Guess that that one is too small then?

Oh, I've also heard/been told that a Flywheel from a 2L 16v ABF engine would also fit

they do a clutch anf flywheel kit on ebay for £170 (single mass fly) i got one myself about 3 weeks ago and it's on and feels good with no problems so just get one of those pal.
I'd reccomend Swifts (VAG specialist) in sheffield for fitting too pal, speedy, reliable and they even give it a wash after they've done!
