Engine a little lazy to turn over

Hi guys
Newbie here from Cheshire needing some urgent help.Just been to see a 2004 Ibiza TDi FR with 50k under its wheels. The car is great apart from one concern. When starting it seems a little lazy to turn over and feels like the engine seems to move a little more than Im used to.I have had a few VAG TDi`s and generally they turn over quickly and dont seem to shake much when turning over.Should I be concerned ?

Thanks for your help.

Probably just needs a new torque mount, they start to get a bit sloppy after 50k, looking into a new one for my 04 Fabia think theyre £30ish brand new and around 1 hour to fit, just jack it up undertray off and undo a few bolts.

Seems pricey to me.

I'd be looking at £5500ish

I dont stand a chance I tried £6200 and he would not go for it.Seems like he is getting a lot of interest.Apparently he has a potential buyer from Scotland and another who has offered £6500 and wants to come tomorrow.Hence the post as I need to make a decision.

To be honest I am pushing my budget hence the queries.I also have the option of a Red Leon TDi FR for the same money.

If it were me, I'd bide my time as there are loads of bargains to be had at the moment in the current economical situation.

What details on the Leon (mileage/year)?

Yeah the Leon is a 2004 54 plate with 45,000mls in Red.I could not see a scratch or dent on the bodywork. Is offered for sale at a garage for £6995.

I'd be sooo tempted. I really like them.

My mate works for Bentley and has had 3 of these all TDi`s.He took the last one to the South of France and had it reading 140mph with a boot full of camping gear etc.

Ok I have decided to go for the Cupra TDi thanks to you all for the advice.I cant get it out of my head the way it drives the way it looks I just love it.The Leon would probably be more practical but you have to go for what makes you smile and go wow dont you.It seems to be quite rare looking on Autotrader and I am being told they hold their money well.

Oh crap it needs a new belt I think. Car has done 51k and is a 54 plate the owner is going to go and see his Seat dealer this afternoon I hope they tell him the same as my indy who I know I can trust and said I definitely need to change it.

Edit:

Well he has been to his dealer who say it does not need doing ??

So I will have to walk away as I cant afford the extra expense right now and he wont get it done.
