I would be very surprised if they could deliver. Everything I've heard indicates that it will be much later in the year at the earliest even early 2010. We might see the Cupra's press release by the summer but I doubt the car would be available.

I think your bang on the money with that tbh.

Maybe a certain dealer wasn't being too honest with me then, as soon as i see the new Cupra ill end up kicking my self thinking why didnt i wait.

Doubt it mate, unless they make drastic changes to how the cupra looks which I doubt they will, unless ofcourse its a new style bodykit.

Think it was more of a case the dealer knowing the facelifted FR was coming in september and so presumed that the cupra would too!

Have you already got the a3 on the drive btw?

june is about 12 weeks from now which my dealer quoted me would take to get a pre facelift built.

Bet your excited mate, what plans have you got for it?

RNS + E OEM Nav system, Auto Lights/Auto Mirror/Auto Wipers retro fit, Turbo back exhaust, Some sort of air intake replacement, Stage 2 map, lowering springs,10mm per axel rear spacers, Cupra/GTI/S3 peddles & a few other little upgrades from other Audis. Just got to work out how to fund it now.

How about your Cupra, i take it there will be some serious audio in it?

Nice, I need to get a TBE and intake also. Gonna wait for the new one forge are developing on the rocco though.

Yeah gonna get a pioneer avic f700bt, upgrade the component speakers amp them and fit my old subs and amps but get a decent box this time round. Might just fit ne sub though as the ibiza rattles too much now, however im not sure if that is just the ibiza trait or my subs fault.

Then im gonna start on getting it to stage 2+ spec. Like you not sure how im gonna fund it, just gonna have to take my time and do it bit by bit.

Great fun though :D

If i where you i would look else where rather than the F700BT, had the 900 in my Ibiza and if im honest the sound quality was questionable, it was far to slow to start up when pressing any buttons it can be very laggy, then the paint started to peel of of the dial.
If i was getting the Leon i would have retro fitted the MFD3 system keeping the OEM look with a better quality system.

Did it have the 2.0 firmware update? Would get the mfd3 but dont fancy the price tbh. Gonna get a f700 imported from the states for about 350 notes. Only want it to play mpeg4 videos and thats it really. Dont need sat nav etc.

So the scum got off with your f900 also? [:@]

unless they have done something to give better feedback while driving?

What like an inflatable co-driver that comments on your driving?

"I thought you took that corner very well... Your going a bit fast for this section of road!!!"

I think the origional mk2 looks way better.
The wing mirrors don't suit it, the D piller looks like a Megane because of the new tailgate and the colour coded front bumper looks worse? The squarer grill makes it look less sporty too.

Would tend to agree, something funny about the wideness of the grilles. And the squared off edges on the bumper don't suit the overall shape.

But then again thats what mk1 owners said about the mk2 to begin with.
It grew on them though!

My god they really are blink and you'd miss them changes aren't they? I'm inclined to agree about the mirrors they look a bit big, but having missed people in the blind spot once or twice it might not be such a bad thing, I also think that in general it seems that wing mirrors seem to be getting bigger on cars perhaps there has been a legislation change or something?
