Changing the TIP

mine makes a fair bit of noise already, p-torque, 007, green filter and modded air box. The two pipes feeding the airbox leave a gap that adds to the noise.

Windows down helps if you are used to the car, DV pipes leaking can be quite distinctive as I've found out twice now.

yeah i fitted mine last week, i think the car picks up much better with it changed!
I dont think you need axle stands to do this! its pretty easy to get to in all fairness, i had never changed one before, or even attempted, but i thought why not give it a go, and within an hour it was done. you can get away with using the oringinal jubilee clib off the turbo, and also the one on the airbox, just get new clips for the other i.e. DV, N75.
Once connected to the turbo your pretty much finished, Just take your airbox out and there is plenty of room.

i never had that bold on part. mine was just a jubilee clip holding the tip to the turbo. maybe its different on diff engine codes?

never know hey! im not much of a mechanic myself, just like to have a crack at things and see how far i can get, and i suprised myself with this one, not a hard job at all i dont think, just a little tricky in some parts of it, but nothing to loose your hair over

same as me mate, the diy bit is challenging but far more satisfying than paying someone :D

liking the red. Yeah i just purchased some coolant and radiator hoses from THS, went to the car to match them up to see where they fit, but im struggling on seeing exactly which they replace. any ideas?

yeah im going to have to email ollie at THS (as they are web based) and make sure the hoses he supplied fit the BAM engine code
