I definitely do not want Coilovers. The temptation to mess about would be too much and to be honest slamming the car is not my bag, cornering fast is

Any recommendations for a matched set of springs and dampers for about £400?

30mm at the most, speed bumps are too common round here. Looking to make the car more stable really as it may see a trackday or two


The cars done 75k so the existing kit has probably given its best by now.

Think I'm going to go for the Weitec Ultra GT when I hit 70k.

Damian will this kit give a true drop of 30mm, and make the car sit level - I've heard of some kits not lowering the back as much as they claim etc. Am I looking at a 20mm drop all round from a standard Cupra?

Yeah from a standard Cupra you'll get about a 20mm drop from the 30mm kit and we've never had any trouble with the kits not sitting level.

Damien how much would the 30mm spring and shock kit, drop a LCR?.
Considering it's already lower than the models listed?.
Is there another Weitec spring/shock combo better suited for the LCR, brackets for arb droplinks etc...?.

All the KW and Weitec kit's come with the ARB brackets already on the shocks so can be used for both Leon 1M where they aren't needed and Leon 1M Cupra R where they are needed.

You'd be looking at around a 10mm drop form the 30mm kit.

Too get closer to my magic 30mm would I actually be better with the 50mm kit though Damian ? Time to measure some speed bumps.
