But being new ill explain,
This is THE most asked question on here and there is more information about it on here than would be required to launch a mission to Mars and back.

So take some time to search the forum and all will be revealed.

split R as long as you read the instructions and set it up properly :)


but as a guide turn it full anticlockwise and on a standard 18T give it 16 clicks mapped circa 20 clicks(although my lcr prefers 22)

Strange thing is, I wanted a turbo'd car cos i like the noise of dump valves (each to their own) but bought a leon cos it was a great car to drive and a bargain given the performance and standard equipment and now the forge 007p diverter suits me fine and I now refer to them as "chav valves"!!!

Forge FMCL007P is the best valve to buy, nice low noise and really easy to fit. Costs around £80 - £90 and a choice of silver or black. GO FOR IT!!!:)

will do! thanks mate. i just got my leon and it has a slight blow off noise what is that . cant explain the noise

Just round the corner.
I've got a Forge SPLT R valve, it's been on for months and no problems or EML coming on.
It's not as loud as I'd like, with standard air box, but if you get an induction kit (I've just got a BMC) as well, then it'll put a smile on your face.

but with out all the hassle of the spilt r
Rob Don uses it and swears by it and he has tried them all so should know haha

Running standard boost and the OEM DV, mine is pretty loud with an open cone induction kit. Is the 007 quieter than the OEM Bosch DV?

Not too dissimilar when used with OE panel filter, but I'd say it was slightly louder when cone filtered up.

One thing that amazed me with respect to induction roar is that if you make your intake pipe take as shorter path as you can, with as few bends/corners in the path to the cone filter (I used a Dynatwist), it is much louder. I bought a SEAT Sport Seat Cupra Championship grille intake, plumbed in an 80mm heat insulated flexi-hose (with battery relocation brackets from Feel), and the sound was much raspier. Didn't want a chuggy DV as they were only cool in the days of the Sierra 'Cossie' Cosworth!

has he had any problem with the engine managment light or anything like that. turbo smart do some nice looking dv's heard they are good too.
ive had a baileys dv the forge split r dv and the 007 forge dv. i got rid of the split r because i heard they leave air too much same with the baileys.
