So my mate has a car booked in for a full respray he's doing over the weekend, and I can put my wheels in the cabbin for cheap as chips.

However I am doubting color/finish

question is, should I go for

gloss silver (clear coating on top)
gloss black (clear coating on top)
matt black
or antrecite grey/black?

this car/rims (BBS RC rims in 16")

Black with the chrome middle would be pretty sick imo, maybe even it matt black.

Silver would look good, but maybe standard good?

hmm, need more reactions lol

no, I won't be adding a polished lip. The BBS RC's don't really have a lip to start with. If it was the LM's then yes that would be a great option.

personally I am doubting between black and antrecite. THink that silver will be so 'regular'

difficult, but need to decide by Friday.

Took 2 wheels off last night and almost finished prepping both for paint. Other 2 will come off after work and will finish prepping all tonight/tomorrow night.

guy is professionally painting them for 60 quid :)

how about standard cupra wheel colour ?

have you thought about a metalicy flake in silver or something... ?
wouls 'look' ordinary but the closer you get you see the flake ?

or if your going black..... why dont you polish the side faces of the spokes ?

would be different and quite a nice contrast ?

actually, I voted anthracite/balck, but having re-reviewed you car pics I would say a bright lacquered silver would be more impactful. The grey on grey tends to look a bit dull/dirty. I love the brushed aluminium outer face/black inner face colour of new style RS4 aftermarket wheels, and it would make them far easier to clean up (superficially).

not a bad idea :)

for my idea, make all the black bits polished metal and make the polished bits glossy black (opposite of what is shown above ;)). its different and would look quite classy

I've always liked the satin black as its like antracite

but then there isn't much depth to the colour, What about a gun metal grey?
