I remaped my Cupra today, Amazing change..

I have a Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8T Petrol, i'm from israel by the way. I remaped my car to UPSOLUTE software and added a SIMOTA fiter & a FORGE 007

Forge Inlet? does it make any serious change?

the best place depends on your budget, area in israel, and target.

you have E&A, which are great(thewy are near to ayalon mall).experts in vags, and in tuning in general.they have the UPsolute remap.
you've got Pit stop in tel aviv, which are a bit more expensive, but cover a lot more tuning.
they have the revo remap-less powerful than upsolute, but more stable for a standard car.
and you have all the small dealers, which i would avoid.

if you're doing a big project, i would do some research to find the best people to do it (like guy frieling, custom remapping expert).
it all depends on the amount of money and power you want to put in your car

So i actually got quotes from both E&A and pitstop. Pitstop told me that they install an upsolute chip for me for 1,500 NIS. E&A told me that they charge 2,500 shekels for an upsolute installation(which they said they setup a bit different than the company because the shop does it stronger) and air filter. This in USD is 650 USD and it sounds a bit much. All I really wanted was a chip, filter and perhaps an exhaust installed. Where do you recommend is better? E&A or pitstop?

E&A as i said have an aggressive remap, which does better with intake,exhaust, and rest of the minimum tune-up's.what pitstop sell is the standard chip.

if you intend to put E&A's remap take in mind that if you add a filter, forge 007, and exhaust you'll need a new fuel valve,and stronger fuel pump, so think about how far you wanna go

personnally - i say E&A and going all the way.

E&A vs. pitstop

I have a budget of around 3000+- shekels and my intent is to hope to add around 50 bhp to the engine. Do you know how much the standard upsolute chip and air filter can get me up to in terms of hp? How much would a small project cost at E&A? Once again, all I really wanted was a chip, filter and perhaps exhaust? Would such a setup gain me an additional 50 hp? E&a told me with the 2,500 shekel upsolute chip installed and air filter, it would put the original 150 bhp up to 200 hp. Does this seam realistic? Is this expensive for just a chip and filter?

E&A's chup and air filter let you add to the engine another 30 HP in the cupras, and 42 HP in the FR's. so 200 is about right.the price of 2500 is also what thay sell it to everyine, unless you add some more things and then you can bargain.
3000 NIS is a normal budget, so just go fo remap and filter. after that maybe add the exhaust(just the end is about 1200 NIS, and a full "healthy" 2.5" exhaust system costs about 3000)

Thanks a lot for all of the advice. For a bang of your buck it wouldnt come out cheaper to get the chip at pitstop(for 1,500 NIS) and then just add an air filter there?

i also recomend E&A. the service there is great and they are really professional.
i've done my remaped there and also added DOV forge 007, air filter, boost guage, full exhaust system and a backbox. the car is around 230 HP. the fuel velve and fuel pump are not neccecary at the moment.
