Lamba sensor

Coming home before and all was well till i noticed that the engine managment had come on, got home and pluged in the scanner and it tells me that it is the pre cat lamba sensor. The other day i fitted a sports cat so im just asking if the cat could have caused the lamba to go down or if it has just packed up ? The car has lost no power and i can turn the managment light off with the scanner but it comes back on after about 20 miles

You sure it's the pre cat and not the post cat?. You will either need to map it out or you can buy an angle block from Wayne.
This should space the sensor out of the more free flowing gases and not cause the light to come on. About $43.

Going for a revo stage 2 remap sat so hope it will map it out if not will make one of the blocks you have shown me. So i gess all i need to do is move the sensor out of the free flowing exhaust gases and this will sort it out ?

Should do but not on everyones. Revo stage 2 can map it out. Mine is Custom Coded @ stage 2 and they used the decat part of the map in the coding. It no longer shows after the 80-90 miles

Cheers will hold out on buying a new sensor and wait till the remap, if it cant be mapped out will make an adaptor block .

Car was fine till i put the sports cat on it, i could have read the fault on the scanner wrong in my rush to find out what it was. Bring on the remap
