*My* white ibiza

First of all, I say mine... I've bought nothing .. yet!

I am leaning heavily towards a (candy)white seat ibiza SC [not sure of the engine yet, most likely the diesel.. but we'll see]. Anyway I'm goiong for the tinted windows with it and i have a question (or two)...

How dark is the tinting of the windows? are all the windows tinted?

As far as alloys are concerned, I'm thinking balck or red.. or maybe some black ones with a red rim. Does anyone think that completely red ones would be too much?

i'm almost certain it is now illegal to have the front 2 windows and the winscreen tinted at all.
you get a light tint on the rear windows and the rear windscreen
i am also getting a white seat ibiza but mines a 1.4 5 door

Actually I live like a five min drive from one. I'm there on sat for a test drive of a 1.9tdi ibiza just right now they're closed (duh) and in the day with work etc i don't get much chance to go look...

i was told down at seat that the 1.9tdi was'nt available to buy for 2 months!
i was going to get one.
good job really as its my first car and being 17 and all :\

I'd seen that on these forums, but when i phoned about a test drive the guy said "we cand rive a 1.9TDi if you want" so unless they ahve some demo's and the new ones aren't available right now or something, not sure... Willing to wait tho, i think the diesel is probably the best of the current line up of engines.

Good choice, I've gone for the white with dark tinted windows too. I've got the tints on my current Leon (came as standard), its only on the back door and hatch windows and it stops you glancing in at the back seats. If you get close to the window you can just about make out the interior (depends on whether you got the sun behind you as well). From the inside, it doesn't seem much darker, you can see a difference by comparing to the front door windows though.

Tweedz, there's nothing wrong with the seat alloys.. i just didn't think the silver would look good with a white car... maybe go metalic black+tints+17s ??

Alex i'm not kidding i still think the red wheels are cool! I already have a corsa... tempted! (that was a joke btw.)

Canonman.. when you say better do you mean better looking? or actually a better alloy wheel? (i know very little about car related 'stuff' electrical/electronics is my thing)

they had some in my seat showroom.
they were the same price as the normal 17's
come to think of it. black with black would look really cool and stealth like.

found some blackish ones that are on the seat accesories page... but none all black.
they aslo have some silver and red ones but no picture

I guess i'll have to ask at the show room, and tweedza thats an ace all black idea lovin' it.
