Ipod Integration ...

Hi

I have looked at alot of the Ipod Integration possibilities for my Seat Leon FR 2005 1.9tdi...

I was wondering if there was a wire that you could connect to the cd changer part of the Aura CD unit or is it a case of buying a full kit to do it, ie, Dension Ice etc...

Cheers

andy

i brought a dension ice link fm thingy from ebay the other day for £30 all in, its basically a cradle which i drilled into my dash and wires into the back of my origional Aura headunit via the airel socket, and it plays your ipod through radio crystal clear, well worth the money as i wanted to keep the origional head unit

its on here for £89.99 but i got it for £29.99 from ebay, i'd send you the ebay link but im at work and im not allowed on ebay lol

Thanks Marcus...

Decisions, decisions hey!

So it's like cd type quality then? 29.99 sounds like a bargain to me!

yep bargain, defently worth it and i fitted it myself in under £20 minutes, it comes with various ariel adapters to suit your car and 3 or 4 different ipod adapters so your ipod fits nice and tight in the cradle

Ahhhhhhhhhhh i see, that's definitely no good then... Plus i travel around the country alot so i would want something that would not get any interference or anything...

opps i would of brought that bracket if i saw it earlier! and you dont get any interferance as it cuts that frequency out so only your music can play through it with no interuptions

I have had a couple of looks and found two that look ok, one is from Pegasussl which has a plug n play device for £79.99 which fits into the cd changer part at the back and the other is off caraudiosecurity, the Kenwood KDC-W6041U for £99.99 ?

Cant provide the links being a new user n all!

DONT get Kenwood... So cheap, and is really budget stuff... from the ones i have seen in the past that my freinds have had... (students) really..... really... poor build quality and cheap...

Pioneer, Alpine, and maybe Sony are good
