I beg to differ, well on the LC anyway i noticed quite a bit it pulls better through the gears and the acceleration is better, you only have to look at the OE pipe and the THS (or Forge) (THS is Better:p) and you can see the difference in the amount of air that will be going in.

when things go wrong we are here , when they break we are here , If you cant fit it , we are here
100% cover , warranty for life , money back guarnateeeee.. no hassles .....tried and tested ..

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little.
When you pay too much you lose a little money, that's is all.
When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything,
because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing
you bought it to do. The common law of business balance
prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done.
If you deal with the lower pricing seller, it's well to add something
for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough
to pay for a better service and product

Yes but the THS items are very good quality and are not a little cheaper but a lot nearly half the cost of yours and in all my dealings with THS the customer care has been excellent, so on balance the two products being of equal quality and the customer care being equal it comes down to cost and there is no question who is cheaper, i saved £150 on the items i bought and that's a lot.

I will be getting a new TIP in the next couple of months so would be very interested in knowing if anyone has ever come across a comparison test carried out in controlled conditions?

I really like Forge products but am always keen to know if an alternative is better, worse or simply so marginal that its basically the same.

i have a forge 007p and wouldnt of thought to get anything else though, i didnt shop around or look/consider any other dump valves at all. i knew everybody used and trusted this one and thats the one i went for. knowing forge have a good name and good quality. customer service yes.. is excellent i have found.one of the best. i have had no bad dealings wth any other company so far in purchasing things for my seat.

i would go for a forge tip but unfortunatly the way things are in the ecomony i have opted for the cheaper option which seems as good product.

not knocking anybodys as forge make some exceptional well fitted and 120% quality parts. they have a great well respected name in the business and it takes alot of hard work to achieve that.

Got my THS TIP this morning, will fit it later today!
Ordered it yesterday at 1pm, turned up 8am this morning, amazing delivery!
If anybody is interested in one, THS say they have only a few left and they are only in blue, the next batch they make will be slightly more expensive due to the current economy. So if you want to grab a bargain, email them and say you are off the forum, they sold me one for £66!

... well my TIP is here!

Paid for it Thursday morning and got an e-mail back a bit later on telling me it would be shipped Friday arrive Saturday - and it did.

Good looking product, feels quite solid with slightly fleable ends to aid fitting - best bit is that its in RED even though the web site states only blue left. Ollie (@THS) said he thought they had one left for the AUQ engine. I'm well chuffed and will fit it next weekend.

it's fairly easy to fit but you will lose some blood, or at least I did fitting mine today

ok :)

lessons learnt:

The car needs to be on axle stands at the front so you can slide under and get to the bolt holding the TIP onto the turbo.

A high quality JUBILEE clip is needed to clamp the new silicone pipe on. Posh clamps won't fit

There is a metal heater pipe that has to be unbolted to gain extra space to slide the THS into position. Do not fully undo this bolt or Mylo doesn't know where to refit it

Wipe off as much oil as you can at all times, bits of gunk were all over my car from its last turbo change.

Check and double check all clamps are done up before the test drive, windows down and stereo off for this bit.
