Yes that looks like it should fit ok. But for a bit more money you could have your back box removed and replaced with a straight pipe (mufflerectomy) and a tip of your choice welded on.

I like the twin exit, As the exits are small and the overall size is compact and not OTT, so am happy just to buy the tip.

I might try cutting the valance out first, If it looks crap then i will buy the cutout valance.

Thanks

sounds good.
I had a exhaust tip on my ibiza, it just made the back look better, without the noise.

Its just a make of back box.

Well i ordered the tip, Should be here Saturday as they ran out of stock. Will cut the rear valance first and see what it looks like, If cheap looking i will buy the cutout version.

Digging an old thread. I tryed the tip as above but it just didnt fit so sent it back.

I am still after a twin exit tip like on the FR's. I dont want anymore noise at all.

So could i take the car to any exhaust place and they will add some staight tubing and weld a new tip on?, I take it they will offer tips they have?.

A good exhaust place can do pretty much anything you want them too, at a price. However if you are just after the FR style exit why not try and find someone selling an FR back box and just get your rear box replaced with that.

Ye, Had a quick scan on Ebay last night and found nothing. Will keep my eyes open.

Alittle off topic. But i got a qoute on getting a rear bumper (lose) sprayed and there asking £172 seems a good bodyshop as seen a fair few dealers using them, But its that alittle high.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than £150 to have a bumper sprayed. Even less if it's a brand new bumper already primed
