I have upgraded the front wiper blades with bosch aerotwin wiper blades and very happy look so much better and wiping has been improved.

I bought a aero style rear wiper blade and when it arrived found out that it wouldn't fit due to the style of the rear arm. I just wanted to keep the arm and change the blade, but the hook bend up and away from the window and the wiper blade wont fit as it has to bend down and towards the window for it to fit.
I dont mind the look of the rear arm and thought with an aero blade would look good, I am not keen on the fabia one even though everyone on here ravs about it.

I know its my own fault for not checking but it didn't even pop into my head, just thought it would be the correct way round.
Anyway I am wondering if there are any rear wiper arms that I could get either second hand or new that would fit and allow me to use the aero wiper blade.
I have seen the MK5 golf bit it looks pretty small and not sure how the blade would fit.

Any help or info would be great.

I've read on here that the Touran wiper fits too. Ordered mine about 2 weeks ago using the part numbers in a thread which I now can't find again but the arm number has changed since then anyway.

When my parts eventually come into stock and I've fitted them I can let you know the new numbers and how they look if you've not got any further by then

Nowhere near, i.e. Norway.
Yeah, Touran is the way to go. I've used that for years.

I've three numbers for a complete set-up. Don't remember which number is blade and which is arm: 1T0 955 707 A and 7E0 955 425.

I do know that you'll need a cap too. It's 6Q6 955 435 B

These numbers are probably revisited since I got them. A VW dealer should be able to order the right numbers anyway.

Crappy pic.

Sorry to hijack but...

...I read that I didn't need to replace the cap so not ordered that bit, did you change it because it broke or because it didn't work/fit?

VW are having trouble getting other bits so should be able to order that in plenty of time anyway. Looks loads better in the pic

just changed mine to Touran and iirc the 1TO 955 707 A actually ends in a C now.

Also didn't need the cap as the new arm came with the cap.

It was a straight swop with no issues although I believe some people have had clearance problems with the cap.

Thanks for the replies, is the wiper blade a special fit one for the arm?
Just wondering if I would get away with just ordering the arm and using the aero wiper blade I have, but its a retro fit one.

I like the look of the touran one, what aort of price is it for the bits?

As far as i remember the arm was quoted at about £3.80 and blade about £18 but as my parts still haven't turned up i'm not certain
