ive just had to shell out for 4 tyres. Ended up getting toyo proxes. A lot of people on here tend to lilke the goodyear eagle f1 i think they were.

I recently replaced my two fronts with Falken 452's after the advice of the forum. :)

I would defo steer towards the Falken FK452\'s

I had to change all four of mine, so wanted the best value for money, a lot of people slated the pirellis so I kept away from those.

So far my falkens are amazing in all weather conditions, can\'t knock them at all!!

0845 260 9112 - give these a call, they are main distributors for falken tyres. I ordered mine and got them next day, and at the time i got them for £55 each which were on offer at the time.

Went to a rolling road day last month and 70% of the cars all had FK452\'s, so they are very popular!!

camskill.co.uk looks to be cheaper than falkentyres.co.uk. Well, it certainly is for the FK452 225/40/18's that the Cupra R takes.

I've just had a pair of Vredestein Sessanta look awesome and seem to grip very well and I've not seen a bad word about them anywhere so far. I will caveat my statement with I've only done 75 miles on them they are on the rear but they have made the car feel more neutral when cornering. Only down side is they are relatively expensive.

I have seen these Vredestein's and I'm considering them as my next tyre choice. The tread pattern looks great and they seem to get a good review on TyreReviews.co.uk, apart from one person saying they tram-line a bit and fuel consumption takes a bit of a hit. They cost about the same as the Dunlop SP Sport 9000's I recently bought for the rear. The only thing is I can't really comment on how good the Dunlop's are because I have them on the rear whilst I try and wear down the crappy Federal's on the front which I'm going to replace soon.

You'll have to let us know how you get on with them cordoba lad.
