Went down to TSR Performance today to get the car remapped. Heard some worrying stories about them in the past but my experience was good. Nice bunch of lads and they seemed to know their stuff.

Just wanted to ask your opinions regarding the dyno plot they produced.

The power delivery is really aggressive. Feels great but it can't be good for the turbo. Was a bit torn between revo and custom code but decided to go with custom code in the end as it was supposed to be the smoothest of both maps. What are your opinions?

Also, I was hoping for a bit more power. I'm realistic in my expectations but surely a stage 2 map should give more than 202 bhp. Cupra's with cat back exhausts, uprated panel filters and a stage one map regularly see 185 - 190 bhp.

Anyway, i'm not grumbling (o.k yes I am, but just a little bit). 202 bhp isn't too shabby!:D

for a ko3 turbo i think that isnt a bad result at all, people that say they are running 210-240bhp from a ko3 are lieing id be happy with that, next mod possible ko3s?

My unknown map made 202bhp on k03 with just a turbo back blueflame system and k&n cone filter. Was told it was a very good map though.

Yeah i'm not sure what the next step for me is. Originally the remap was meant to be the finishing touch and then sell the car. I've always wanted an evo so that was meant to be the next step.

With the current state of the banks and the economy I might play it safe and keep what i've got for now.

K03s is definitely a possiblity though.

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy with 202 bhp. Just wanted someone to have a quick look at the dyno plot to make sure it looked o.k. Never had a car remapped before so this is all new to me! I have no idea if that printout they gave me is good or bad. N00b:redface:

i would steer clear from evos at the mo, they are really hard to sell on and with the road tax change they will be dropping in price still

Would like to try another set of rollers but there is no one locally who has a dyno.

TSR was probably the closest to me and that was a 5 hour round trip!

Will probably wait until Bill gets his up and running.

i know its still far probably about 3 hours from you but try powerstation in Tewkesbury there rollers give a pretty accurate reading alternativly interpro in Bristol ? but thinking about it there must be places in wales that have rollers ?
