Bloody leaks in Leons! (03 Cupra) just when i've ripped my fingers to bits refitting the pollen filter cover fixing one leak, i get a leak i thought was down to me filling my boot with wet flowers (dont ask). (Only had car 4 months)

I have a small water leak somewhere on the passenger side of my boot right by the wheel arch, the left of the boot keeps getting wet (and mouldy now) i just cant work out where from, is it coming down from the roof (no signs of this) or up from the wheel arch (i hope not!)

Anybody??

Please!

Leigh.

MMM now there is a thought! does it come down the left of the boot lid? also my spray on rear wiper is crap more like a dribble, maybe the rest is in the boot!!

yea i had water in my boot and all it was, was that the pipe wasnt connected properly at the join. if the rear washer is only going about half way up the screen then thats probably it. just need to take the panel off behind the rear seats and click the 2 bits back together.

I have this issue. Which panel to you mean, the one to the left in the boot or the one on the boot door?

yea the one to the left in the boot, you have to tilt the rear passenger side seat forwards to undo one of the screws.

Fixed. yes it was that right angle joint. It's wierd it was still connected but had come loose like it was designed to do that. 5 min job.

Anyway I hadn't been spraying it too much since it's been loose so it was all dry behind there. Thanks for the advice.

Took me a while to figure out its the cover the rear seat belt goes through, but 3 screws later and there was a 90 bend with half its pipe sticking out!
Rear spray now works perfectly!
Thought the boot smelt a bit lemony! (Duh now i know why!)

Many thanks for your help guys.
