Knocking noise

yes another thread on knocking, i spent a while searching through threads on here for a solution but no luck yet.
iv got a 2002 mk3 cupra.iv just put it on AP coilover. at the same time as doing this i replaced all of the following for new items.
lower arms,
front wheel bearings,
top mounts,
drop links,
track rod ends.
iv got a horrible knocking coming from the front left (N/S). iv had the car in the air, wheels off and cant see any sign of fouling on arms, arb etc.
can anyone shed any light on this???
help much appreciated

yeah, real helpful! you're a true fountain of knowledge.

have you had a proper 4 wheel alignment done since all the parts went on?
When does it knock? eg going round corners, over bumps etc

not as yet. iv had the tracking done, obviously but thats it. at first it seemed to be when i turned on lock to lock and when the boost kicks in but now its during any acceleration and during driving normally.it sounds like a strut is loose but from experience i know there is always some feed back through the wheel or pedals if this is the case.
so i am lost. my mate has just suggested that it could be the arb bushes. now that all of the other bushes have been replaced, there is more stress on the older worn bushes.????

tell me about it. i dont understand how you can replace near enough everything and still have a knocking issue. it was fine before i fitted coilovers. no noise what so ever.

is everything tightned up properly, would be my first thought, seen as you have changed so much.

Right i found the problem went when i had to tighten up the coilover. where the shock goes into the case that hold it onto the axle there is a cap that holds it in on my FK's that i tightened up wich sorted it a little. not sure if yours will be the same though.

It was covered in crap on mine so its hard to see. i'd just get new ones to be honest now.but nocking could be anything from driveshaft / cv joint wheels and bearing
