Remapping a high miler!

I remapped my old MK4 AUM Golf with a Revo very succesfully, it really was a completely different car.

Only had the Leon (AUQ) a few weeks but missing that kick that I don't get now, despite being 30bhp up on the Golf's standard 150bhp.

My Leon has high miles (120k and climbing) I need a cambelt next week and I'm trying to resist the mapping option. Would it kill my very reliable Leon mapping it at this mileage?

Thanks all

No problems at all. 120k is NOT high mileage on a properly serviced 1.8T. Look after her correctly, get her mapped by a respected tuner (ie not an ebay or mobile number only fly by night) and still expect a minimum engine life of 250k without the need for non cost-effective repairs.

Thanks for that Ross. It's been looked after well so I think this is something I'm going to seriously consider!
