Traction Control Light?

Hi Guys,
For some strange reason, after a while of driving my Traction control light appears on the dash. Iv tried turning the TCS on and off, doesnt work. If i turn the ignition off and on again, it disappears?

Any ideas?

faulty relay id say on the tcs light.

try vagcom it to see if it throws any faults

not sure, as you dont really know what the problem is, if its just a relay or short, then id say no....

try reset the ecu to clear the code and see if it comes back again.

Hi, ive had my LC for about a month now and and i havent really thought about the traction control. I have the ERS button next to petrol cap pop. I have tried pressing this while stationary and while moving but doesnt indecate any light in instrument panel or make much different.

One thing thats puzzled me is that when put my foot down in second gear after about 2000 revs the car wheel spins till i catches up to that speed, on my old car the traction control would stop the wheels spinning...

Is this odd? does it seem that my traction control is not working???

he tcs on leons is pants. turn it off and use a progressive throttle and youll take off just fine.

Mine was putting the traction control light on intermittently and would only go with a ignition off and back on job (usually while driving still lol) hasn't done it since I cleared the throttle out. Do you get any misfires or rough running?

Disconnect the battery and leave it for a bit then reconnect it again, this may clear it.

Could be a dodgy MAF .You need to do diagnostic check with vag com

It may well have for engine load information.

Had the tcs light appear on my dash,run vag com which showed a dodgy maf.This has happened twice on my LCR
